Thank you for visiting our website. We hope the information available here will be useful to existing families, and to those who are looking to bring their children to Middleton Primary School.
There are currently no upcoming events.

In Gymnastics this week, Ash Class have been learning to balance on apparatus. They have been practising using pointed toes and straight legs, and exploring how to balance using a range of different body parts.

This week we have enjoyed working towards our Ruby Robin Award; making bird feeders using pinecones and hanging them in the trees around our school. Hopefully we will attract lots of birds to our school ready for our RSBP School Birdwatch next week.

In Cooking Club this week, children made pizzas! In Gymnastics, children learnt how to compose a sequence including balance, movement and a jump. Children worked hard to point their toes and remain composed.

Fruit printing in art to end the week in Ash. The children sculpted their own stamps using old pencils and blunt knives.

Ash Class have been learning how to find the right coins to buy items in their homemade shop! The children learned lots about money and had great fun along the way. A fantastic hands-on learning experience!

In Spruce we have had fun exploring and making circuits using different components, learning the symbols for each part, and drawing their own circuit diagrams. It was fantastic to see their curiosity, problem-solving and creativity in action as they explored how things work together.

In Literacy today, the children created a magic box. They decided its special power was returning lost items to where they belong and they were absolutely right! The magic box worked, sending a lost possession all the way back to one of the teacher's homes.

In Science, the children received a very special letter from a giant asking for help to make a suitable umbrella! As a cold task, the children worked collaboratively to discuss and choose the materials they thought would work best. They then kindly designed and created a giant-sized umbrella for him! What fantastic teamwork, problem-solving and creativity on display – well done everyone!

We would love to welcome parents, carers, and toddlers to our Parent and Toddler Session at our lovely school Come along to enjoy a relaxed and friendly environment where little ones can play, explore, and socialise, while parents have the chance to meet others and get to know our school community.
