Never Giving Less Than Our Best
Thank you for visiting our website. We hope the information available here will be useful to existing families, and to those who are looking to bring their children to Middleton Primary School.

It was wonderful to welcome our Year 6 children back today after their residential. We feel incredibly fortunate to have shared such a special few days with such a fantastic group of children. It was a real privilege to spend this time together, making lasting memories before they leave us in just a couple of weeks. By the end of the trip we were all feeling a little tired, but before heading home we squeezed in one last game of football and even enjoyed an informative coastal erosion lecture from Mrs Last! Thank you, Year 6, for making it such a memorable residential. We hope you'll look back on it with happy memories for years to come.

This week, Ash Class received some breaking news! An eyewitness had reported seeing a golden-haired girl sneaking into the home of a family of bears. The children became undercover detectives, searching for clues, gathering evidence, and investigating the scene of the crime. They carefully examined what they discovered before reporting back with their findings.

Another update! We all loved the campfireespecially making and eating the s'mores!

After an action-packed, fun-filled (and quite long!) day at Bewilderwood, everyone is back at base safe, happy, and getting ready to enjoy a BBQ and campfire!
Good morning from Winterton! Everyone slept really well on their first night away. We've all enjoyed a good breakfast and made our packed lunches. We're heading out for a walk before our exciting day trip to Bewilderwood. Looking forward to another fantastic day!

Update from Winterton! We've had a fantastic day! Everyone enjoyed swimming and the Clip 'n Climb session at the Marina Centre in Great Yarmouth before heading back to Winterton for a delicious fish and chip supper. This evening, we're getting showered and enjoying a game of rounders before we finish the day with a film and a mug of hot chocolate. Everyone is having a great time!

Middleton have had a fantastic time enjoying all the new playtime equipment. Thanks to the money raised from our nonuniform day and plant sale, the school council carefully selected a range of exciting items for everyone to use. They've even organised a special storage box and taken responsibility for keeping everything tidy. The children have loved playing with our new parachute, footballs, catch pads, bubbles, and so much more it's brought lots of energy and smiles to our playtimes.
Year 6 Residential Update! We're delighted to let everyone know that our Year 6 children have arrived safely and are all settled into their accommodation! The sun is shining, spirits are high, and everyone is currently enjoying lunch outside the Marina Centre before an exciting afternoon of activities begins. Keep an eye on our page for more updates as the residential continues!

We Did It! We are absolutely delighted to announce that Middleton Primary School has won The Consortium Trust Bloomin' Marvellous Competition 2026! This achievement wouldn't have been possible without the incredible support of our wonderful school community and the people of Middleton village. We'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who donated plants, offered their time, shared their gardening expertise, and helped us transform our outdoor spaces into something truly special. Our pupils have loved getting involved, learning about gardening, caring for the environment and taking pride in making our school bloom. This award is a testament to what can be achieved when a community comes together. We are incredibly proud of our little school. Thank you once again for helping make Middleton Primary truly 'Bloomin' Marvellous!'
